This summer we purchased window well covers for our home. We could have paid an extra $100 per cover to have the galvanized steel finish powder coated. Galvanizing the steel prevents the steel from rusting so powder coating would have only changed the color something I knew I could complete on my own at a substantial savings. I purchased Rustoleum Universal in both the espresso Brown and the hammered brown. I used the espresso brown as a base and the hammered brown to give a bronze finish. The end result looks amazing and the savings were incredible.
