Melodious Wind Chimes

I made these wind chimes for my mother's birthday and modeled them off of a $350 set of chimes she saw.

The pipes are made of extruded aluminum and I didn't know how to easily finish them until I found Rustoleum Universal. I LOVE that I didn't have to prime the metal before applying the finish coat! That saved me a LOT of work and time!

I had to hang each pipe vertically to paint them on all sides. Having the ability to paint at any angle made it easy to paint them without worrying about keeping the can upright.

The new trigger design was extremely comfortable! My trigger finger never got tired or tipped with paint like when I use other spray cans.

I've never had a good experience with textured finishes before, but the hammered metal finish turned out GREAT and is just the look I wanted.

My mom LOVES the sound and the appearance of her new wind chimes. She enjoys spending time in her garden even more with the beautiful, melodious wind chimes nearby.

Thank you Rustoleum Universal!
